Download Hello World Android Application

Create Hello World Application follow these basic steps. Below Steps are after the configuration of SDK Manager and eclipse.
STEP 1
Start Eclipse and Choose Workspace where you want to save your project

STEP 2
Click on the file menu -> Select New -> Choose Android Project
New Android Project Dialog will displayed and fill the required information and click on the finish button

Here In Above Dialog box Create Activity is the name of class you want to specify for your default Activity which will be loaded first when Hello World Example will be executed.

STEP 3
From the Project explorer click on the HelloWorld -> res - > layout. it will show the main.xml inside layout folder. double click on the main.xml. By clicking on main.xml it will show something like.

Drag the Text View Control from left panel to black box. and click on the main.xml tab show bottom left near Graphical Layout. now the main coding or designing part starts.

STEP 4
When you drag control to Graphical Layout in background it will generate the xml code appropriate to those control. In our Example we have dragged TextView Control so here we can see the TextView tag. and LinearLayout tag. LinearLayout is the default layout which hold the View Control as well other Layout if you want to specify for your design.

We have android:text = "Hello World" attribute which show the text to screen. here we have specified "Hello World".

android:textColor="#900" you can specify the Text Color in RGB format RED , GREEN and BLUE.
android:layout_height="fill_parent" TextView Control Height would be equal to the height of its parent control. in our example parent is LinearLayout. same thing would be applied to android:layout_width

android:gravity="center_vertical|center_horizontal" you can specify the alignment of the control

STEP 5
Click on the run to execute our Hello World Application Example.

If you dont know Grouper is the code name for the nexus 7. So you need to find the code name for your device. It can be found easyly on the web.

Smart Compass is a tool to search bearings(direction, azimuth) using the magnetic sensor that is combined in your device. The result is magnetic north (not real north). It is a free version with ads and without GPS features.

This compass has 3 special features.

1) Although you turn your device into portrait or landscape mode, the heading is fixed.
2) The Cameras view is used for reality.
3) The magnifier field level is displayed in order to verify the sensors.

There is no special usage. Watch the youtube video below. (based on ver 1.5)

* Menu and Setttings

GPS and Direction options are available in the pro version.

* If the compass is not accurate...
- The compass accuracy depends on the performance of your sensors EXACTLY. We know that most magnetic sensors are unstable and torchy.

- Sometimes, a view cover with a magnet or a leather case with a magnetic snap can cause unwanted results.

- Confirm that the magnetic field is normal (about 49?T in nature). If it is out of bounds, initialize your sensor. Point your phone up towards the sky and move it in a figure 8 pattern.

- I had a Galaxy Ace phone that was 3 years old. It was very inaccurate. To my surprise, it worked perfectly after replacing the battery.

* Acceleration sensor turn On/Off
- This compass requires many sensors (acceleration sensor, magnetic sensor, orientation sensor) to support many features.
- If this compass is very accurate, it means that one of your sensors is poor.

- If your phone has unstable sensors, this compass can be inaccurate. I had heard that several Motorola devices(Droid X, DROID RAZR, DROID BIONIC...) had this issue.
- In this case, turn off [Acceleration sensor] option. It makes my app use only an orientation sensor.

* Options for calibration
- My compass tool has several options. If all of your sensors are perfect, all options should show the same azimuth. Otherwise, the azimuth will be different.
- I wish that you find your best mode.
1) Camera : On / Off
2) Acceleration : On / Off
3) How to hold your phone : Landscape / Portrait / Flat on a desk.
? For example, Razrs best mode is [Camera On, Acceleration Off, Flat].

* FAQ
Q. The compass does not work or says "MAGNETIC Sensor Error".
A. Several devices had no magnetic sensor. Please check your specifications firstly.
Otherwise, your built-in sensor was out of order.

Q. The compass shows the wrong direction.
A. The reason is that your built-in sensors are unstable and weakened by time.
In order to initialize them, point your device up towards the sky and move it in a figure 8 motion. If it is not solved, restarting and performing a factory reset will be helpful.
Finally, touch a magnet near by your phone. This could fix your sensor forcibly.

Q. Is it real north?
A. No, the default is the magnetic north. To calculate real north, GPS is required.(available in pro version)

Q. Why does this app require the internet connection?
A. The connection is not essential. It is only for ads.

Q. What is the orange triangle?
A. It just points out the top of your device.

Q. The battery drains very fast.
A. It is an issue of OS2.3. To close this app exactly, use the [Exit] menu. Click the hardware menu button on your phone.

There are already many famous flashlight apps. But, because many my users wanted to integrate flashlight into Smart Tools, I had to develope it.

Flashlight is just 3 features. I guess it will be enough.

? LED light : If your phone has a camera LED, you can turn on the LED as a torch.

? Screen light : turn your screen into a brilliant light source. It is enough to find your way in the dark.

? Widget : create the widget on the home screen.

* There are 3500+ android devices in the world. On several devices, it did not work properly due to the different camera modules. Please let me know it, Ill try to support as many devices as possible.

- no LED phone : Galaxy S, X10, XT530, XT531 ...
- xenon light phone : Motoroi
- chinese phone : Huawei(U8650, U8665), ZTE(N860, Blade S)...

* FAQ
Q. There is no flashlight widget.
A. You must have installed this app into SDcard. Move it to your phone.

Q. After a recent update, the flashlight widget does not work properly.
A. It is the bug of Jelly Bean. Remove and reinstall the widget.

Q. I cannot turn on LED.
A. Especially on the chinese phones, the flashlight app cannot turn on LED. See the non-support device list.

Q. Why does this app require the camera permission?
A. LED is related to the camera. To turn on LED, it must open the camera view.
